Staff Spotlight: Ms. Liz | Lower School
In this month’s staff spotlight, we’re excited to feature Ms. Liz Lee, our K-5 Librarian. With a deep love for literacy and young learners, Ms. Liz cultivates a welcoming library space where curiosity is sparked, imaginations grow, and a lifelong love of reading begins.
“Ms.Liz has seamlessly stepped into the role of Lower School Media Specialist and has spent the year implementing changes to further engage students in literacy and develop a greater love of reading. Beyond weekly read-alouds and book checkouts, library plans include guest readers, author visits, thematic units, and STEAM activities. In addition to teaching library classes, she also provides literacy support for kindergarten through second-grade students, ensuring that these students have every opportunity to build strong foundational literacy skills. We are so lucky to have her on our team!” – Laura Apperson, Head of Lower School.
